Kenya Trip Terms and Conditions

While we thoughtfully plan every detail of our trips, travel can be unpredictable. The itinerary is designed to provide a clear outline of the experiences we expect to share together, but flexibility is an important part of any journey.

Trusted Travel Girl reserves the right to adjust the itinerary as necessary due to weather, local conditions, wildlife movement, operational considerations, or other unforeseen circumstances. Any adjustments will always be made with the goal of ensuring the best possible experience for the group.

Trusted Travel Girl also reserves the right to substitute hotels, camps, transportation providers, guides, or other services with comparable options if circumstances require it. While changes are rare, they may occur due to availability, operational considerations, or other unforeseen circumstances. Any substitutions will always be made with partners or properties of equal or higher standard whenever possible.

Additionally, the timing and order of activities may occasionally be adjusted due to weather, wildlife activity, transportation logistics, or other factors outside our control. These adjustments may be necessary to ensure safety, maximize wildlife viewing opportunities, and provide the best possible overall experience for the group.

By booking this trip and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and conditions. Booking and Payment A non refundable deposit of $750 per person is required to secure your spot on the trip. Your reservation is not confirmed until the deposit has been successfully received and processed. The remaining balance will be due according to the payment schedule provided at the time of booking. Failure to make payments by the required deadlines may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of all payments made. All prices are listed per person and based on shared accommodations. Due to the small size of the safari camp and the limited number of rooms available, reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis and space is extremely limited. Refund Policy All payments made toward this trip are non refundable. This includes the initial deposit as well as all subsequent payments. Safari camps, hotels, transportation providers, and local operators require advance non refundable commitments in order to secure space for the group. For this reason, cancellations by travelers for any reason will result in forfeiture of all payments made. We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment. Reservation Transfers If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your reservation to another traveler. Transfers may be permitted at the discretion of Trusted Travel Girl and must be approved in advance. Any costs associated with transferring a reservation are the responsibility of the traveler. Rooming and Shared Accommodations This trip is designed around shared accommodations. Solo travelers who select the shared room option will be paired with another traveler of the same gender. While every effort will be made to thoughtfully match roommates, roommate compatibility cannot be guaranteed. If a traveler cancels and leaves their roommate without a roommate, the remaining traveler may be responsible for any additional costs associated with single occupancy if a replacement roommate cannot be found. Room configurations vary by property and specific bed types cannot be guaranteed in advance. Travel Insurance Requirement Travel insurance is required for all travelers on this trip. Your policy should include coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical coverage, and emergency medical evacuation. Travel insurance protects you in the event of illness, flight disruptions, emergencies, or other unexpected situations that may prevent you from attending the trip. Flights and Travel Arrangements International and domestic flights are not included unless otherwise specifically stated. Travelers are responsible for booking their own flights to and from the destination and for arriving in Nairobi by the designated arrival time. Trusted Travel Girl is not responsible for airline schedule changes, delays, missed connections, lost luggage, or other airline related issues. Travel Documentation Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have the proper documentation required for international travel. This includes a valid passport, visas if required, vaccinations, and compliance with all entry requirements for the destination country. Trusted Travel Girl is not responsible for travelers who are unable to travel due to incomplete documentation. Itinerary Changes While every effort will be made to operate the itinerary exactly as described, Trusted Travel Girl reserves the right to make adjustments to the itinerary when necessary due to weather, wildlife movement, safety considerations, local conditions, supplier changes, or operational requirements. Any modifications will always prioritize the safety and experience of the group. Such changes do not constitute grounds for refunds. Traveler Conduct Trusted Travel Girl reserves the right to remove any traveler from the trip if their behavior is disruptive, unsafe, illegal, or negatively impacts the experience of other guests. In such cases, the traveler will be responsible for any additional costs incurred and no refund will be provided. Liability Waiver Trusted Travel Girl acts solely as an intermediary between travelers and independent suppliers such as hotels, safari operators, transportation providers, guides, and activity operators. Trusted Travel Girl is not responsible for acts, errors, omissions, injuries, accidents, losses, delays, or irregularities caused by third party providers. Participation in safari activities and international travel may involve inherent risks. By participating in this trip, travelers acknowledge and accept these risks. Trusted Travel Girl shall not be liable for personal injury, illness, property damage, loss of luggage, delays, cancellations, acts of government, political unrest, wildlife encounters, weather conditions, airline disruptions, or other events beyond our control. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes By submitting payment for this trip, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Initiating a credit card chargeback or payment dispute after agreeing to these terms constitutes a breach of contract. Trusted Travel Girl reserves the right to pursue recovery of funds, including any legal fees, collection costs, or administrative expenses associated with such disputes. Media and Photography By participating in this trip, travelers acknowledge that photography and video may be captured during the experience. Participants grant Trusted Travel Girl permission to use such images and video for marketing, promotional materials, and social media. Travelers who prefer not to appear in marketing materials may opt out by providing written notice prior to the trip. Force Majeure Trusted Travel Girl shall not be held responsible for delays, changes, cancellations, or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control. This includes but is not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, wildlife conditions, political unrest, government restrictions, pandemics, airline disruptions, labor strikes, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, refunds may not be possible as funds may already be committed to third party suppliers. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from participation in this trip shall be handled in the appropriate courts within the State of California. Agreement By submitting a deposit or payment toward this trip, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.
