Room Configurations
Please read carefully before selecting your booking option.
Accommodations on this trip are shared. Room layouts vary slightly between Nairobi and the Maasai Mara due to the design of each property.
In Nairobi, shared rooms can be arranged with two separate beds so each traveler has their own sleeping space.
While on safari in the Maasai Mara, solo travelers who book the shared room option will share a room with two separate double beds. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, providing plenty of space for two travelers to sleep comfortably.
For travelers booking together, safari rooms feature one exceptionally large bed designed for two adults. These beds are extremely spacious, similar to a California King, Super King or larger, and are common in luxury safari camps (I seriously cannot describe just how giant these beds are).
Because the safari camp is small and intimate, we only have a limited number of shared accommodations available for solo travelers. If you are traveling with a friend or partner, please select the option designed for travelers booking together so we can reserve the shared solo spaces for guests who truly need them.
For travelers who are booking together, this will be ONE reservation for two travelers. This ensures that both spots are secured at the same time during the booking process and prevents one of the two spaces from being taken by another traveler while completing checkout.
PAYMENTS AFTER DEPOSIT
Payment Schedule
After submitting your deposit, you will receive an email with a payment link/instructions to complete your remaining balance.
At that time, you will have two options:
• Pay the remaining balance in full
• Select a payment plan and complete your payments in installments
All final payments must be completed by August 15.
Failure to complete payment by the final payment deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of all payments made.
Solo Traveler – Shared Accommodation
Cost per person $6,795
Deposit $750 per person
This option is for solo travelers who are comfortable sharing a room with another guest on the trip.
If you select this category, you will be paired with another solo traveler of the same gender. Many guests arrive not knowing anyone and leave with a new travel friend, and sharing a room is a great way to connect with others in the group.

This booking option is for two people traveling together who will share one room and one bed while on safari in the Maasai Mara. You must already have a friend, partner, or family member you are traveling with in order to book this room category, because this is a booking for TWO travelers.
Because the safari camp is small and intimate, there are only a limited number of rooms that can accommodate solo travelers. If you are traveling with a close friend or partner, we strongly encourage you to book this option so we can reserve the solo rooms for travelers who truly need them.

While on safari in the Maasai Mara, you will share an exceptionally large bed. These beds are enormous even by luxury hotel standards. Think California King sized or larger, with plenty of space for two adults to sleep comfortably.
Many travelers describe them as feeling closer to two beds seamlessly combined. They are designed for couples but work just as comfortably for close friends who are happy to share.
If you are traveling with someone you know and trust, this is a fantastic option that allows more people to join our safari while still keeping the camp experience intimate.
While we thoughtfully plan every detail of our trips, travel can be unpredictable. The itinerary is designed to provide a clear outline of the experiences we expect to share together, but flexibility is an important part of any journey.
